No nonsense

Hello...I have a scrapbook page that is colorful and easy to make.  I used a stencil called Flying Bird Doily by Balzer Designs for the background. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks to ink the stencil in picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, evergreen bough and mustard seed.

Here I added a cut file from iHeartStudio.

An embellishment cluster on the right side complete the layout. Bottle cap Basic Grey True Love, Love circle Kaiser Craft Tea Party, Fox tag Teresa Collins Nine & Co, Bird Kaiser Craft XO, Sweet tag & green bow American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neopolitan

This matters to me

This layout was made for a class at Studio Calico called Color Theory.  This is a monochromatic layout using black, white and gray.  The layout is entitled this matters because it is a stamp I used on the layout underneath the flower cutout.  Its about my love of traveling and adventure and how much it matters to me.

Here you can see the stamping of "this matters" and the patterned paper from Authentique, as well as the cutouts from the class taught by Wilna Furstenberg.

A Day in Paris

Today I am sharing a watercolored card that is influenced by the March Simon Says Stamp card kit.  The kit has beautiful papers from Authentique called Classique beauty that have a French flair to them. Be sure to check out the How to Video either on YouTube or at the bottom of today post.

Mr and Meeces

Hello everyone! Today I have a couple of cards to share with you and another video.  I used the stampendous stamp called Mr and Meeces.  I colored them with copic markers, fussy cut, added a sentiment and then mounted on foam adhesive.  Next a few embellishments were added and the cards were complete.

This card was fussy cut by hand....

This card I stamped the image and then scanned it and saved it as a JPEG file.  Then I imported into my silhouette and print and cut.  I like how nicely it cuts around the image but the image itself is not as dark and some of the detail is not there.
